Why become a member of the council?
There are lots of reasons to join the Children and Young People's Council. These are just a few...
- To gain experience about decision making, team work and planning.
- All members of the council will be taken out to lunch at a trendy venue at each meeting.
- To make clapa children’s services something to be proud of!
- Members of the council will get to make decisions about the services they want clapa to have including workshops, camps and parties!
- To get children and young people’s voices heard who have a cleft lip and/or palate.
- Every year each member of the council will be given tickets to either a music concert, theme park or a similar fun attraction.
- To meet other children and young people.
- Each member of the council will be given a certificate at the end of the year saying they have been an active member of clapa’s council, steering important decisions on behalf of the charity.
- To have your say!
