Finally spring has come! Don't be fooled by the occasional rain and fog; winter is now officially over. Islington, where our offices are based, is rather lovely around this time of year; we have a couple of small parks and a leafy canal with boats. I've banned my winter coat to the darkest corner of my wardrobe, Claire goes on long bicycle rides during her lunch break and Anna is looking forward to make use of the terrace on her new house.

The longest & darkest month of the year is over and it is only a few weeks away from spring. Forget your New Year's resolutions, they were never meant to be kept anyway. I certainly feel no guilt for returning to my bad habits (wine) and get on with my life. I am looking forward to leaving work when it is still daylight and watch the new buds spring up on the trees.

Happy New Year Everyone! 2013 took off well for CLAPA, Bonnie Studd started with us as a fundraising intern to give much needed help to Louise. We also reshuffled the seating arrangement in the office, so we don't get bored seeing and chatting to the same people all the time However, all you can see here now are boxes upon boxes of bottles as our annual supply of special feeding bottles turned up this week. At least it keeps us warm and cosy.

Cambodia: Week Thirteen

Our final week working in Cambodia.

Each year, the speech and language therapists from the City University voluntary project, evaluate what progress has been made in each of the settings they work in and consider the best ways to continue to provide sustainable input in future years.
