Why I wanted to be a CLAPA Council member: So I could choose/see what I could do with other Cleft lip and palate children and to meet more people with a Cleft lip and palate.
I like: swimming,reading and watching TV
Operations I've had...
I have had:
A pharyngoplasty,
A bone graft,
A reversal of the pharyngoplasty,
four sets of gromits put in,
original lip and palate repairs,
a lip revision and nose surgery.

Joining the council
If you would like to become a council member and you are aged between nine and seventeen years old all you have to do is fill out the three-paged application form and send it back to Sandy at CLAPA saying why you would like to be involved.
Once Sandy has received the completed application form she will take it to the next meeting of the council for the members to see. A decision will be made after that time. The council would really like some new members so please do apply.
