when i was little i was brainwashed with absolutely everything from the 80’s and previous and some new stuff, my dad would take me for a drive to get me to sleep and i would go to sleep with the music he played, from 8 years old i would then recognize a song i didn’t know, or never heard before, and be able to sing to it, perhaps this was what gave me a musical life, a crave to listen to music and the need to become a musician.
at some stage in my school life, year 1 i think, i joined a school called stage coach, a sing, dance and drama thing every sunday a stayed for a year or 2 or maybe 3, then i quit, i was rubbish i admit lol
in year 3 i took up piano, i took it as a joke, not concentrating, but not realizing the potential i had, i just thought i was someone else trying to play piano,
in year 5 i did my grade 1 woo, like years late tho,
in year 7 my musical career began, in music lessons everything began to make sense, everything i had learnt was for some reason lol, at christmas i joined Cinderford Academy Brass band, did my first concert in wesley hall as a percussionist, i then took up drums just after christmas my knowledge developed :D then i did several competitions, coming third with my band in the (welsh) brass band comp, i then started my grade 5 piano, but was short lived as my piano teacher moved away, so since i’ve had 2 piano teachers, i now get on with my third, we have gone back to doing grade 4 hopefully by summer, meanwhile my brass band life has taken a turn for the better, becoming better and competition arising through the percussionists in the academy band, a few months ago i moved up into the senior band without my other members from the academy band and now are working on a test piece that is for a competition around the 14th of march, i think, where we will go down to torquay
just wandering about everyone else lol
